About Aubrey
My journey with French began when I first encountered its rhythm and romance through literature and film. Over nine years of teaching, my passion for this beautiful language has deepened with every student I’ve taught. For me, teaching French is more than sharing grammar rules—it’s about inspiring curiosity, empathy, and cross-cultural understanding through language. I teach with warmth, adaptability, and a focus on engagement. My approach combines clear explanation with creative immersion. I use conversation, games, and authentic materials to help students experience French as it is spoken and lived. I believe learning flourishes when students feel confident enough to experiment, make mistakes, and keep growing. Outside the classroom, I stay immersed in the language through French cinema, cultural events, and travel. Teaching allows me to share these experiences with others, encouraging them to embrace the cultural richness behind every word. Helping students grow from hesitant beginners into fluent, expressive speakers continues to be one of my proudest achievements and ongoing sources of joy.

My French lessons are designed to make language learning an immersive and enjoyable journey. Each session blends grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation with cultural context so students experience French as a living language. I believe learning should feel like discovery—filled with music, dialogue, stories, and laughter. Lessons are interactive, combining structure with creativity to ensure students learn effectively while enjoying every step of the process.
Beginners start with pronunciation, everyday conversation, and simple grammar. Intermediate learners strengthen comprehension, writing, and speaking through guided reading, film discussions, and real-world dialogues. Advanced students refine fluency, idiomatic expressions, and formal communication skills. Each lesson includes interactive exercises, role-plays, and personalized feedback that keep motivation high and progress steady.
My goal is to help students not only speak French but think in it—to communicate naturally and confidently in real contexts. Beyond academic success, learners develop appreciation for French art, culture, and worldview. Many have used their skills while traveling, studying abroad, or working internationally. My lessons aim to open minds as much as doors—transforming learning into a joyful, lifelong experience of culture and expression.
