About Sarah
Hi everyone ! My name is Sarah. I'm a 27 year-old French student currently graduating from a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law at Trinity College Dublin. I have a Bachelor degree in Law and Languages as well as one in Business and Marketing from the University of Bordeaux. And so yes! I come from Bordeaux, in the South-West of the country, clearly the best bit ! Forget about the Eiffel Tower and think more about having a fresh glass of rosé on some French beach next summer !
I love music (electro pop, rock, indie...), rollerblading, painting, baking aaaaand my Cat 'Raoul'.
I speak French, English, Arabic and a bit of Spanish !
I live near Rathmines (Dublin 6) where I will give my in-person classes. If it is too far from where you are, we could always find a solution to make it easier for you.
I am not a very formal person. I like to teach in a chill atmosphere and enjoy a good laugh if that's okay with you :)

Now, my first goal as a tutor is to help you getting confident at your spoken French so you could feel more comfortable and at ease during your next trips to any French speaking city (I would also recommend Brussels which is gorgeous and where I'm part from). I like my classes to be interactive. But I also adapt them to the person I have in front of me, their needs and current level of French.
Among other things we will watch short videos (entertaining and more serious ones) and debate on them. We will read chapters of my favorite books so I could correct your prononciation then talk about what you understood. I will ask you in-between classes to keep a diary in French for example, so I could correct your writing skills. We will also play games such as riddles and descriptive games so we could learn in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
I don't want it to be a chore for you or a source of anxiety. We could have online lessons as well as in person classes in Rathmines, where I live, while having a warm cup of tea or coffee !

Excellent tutor, I highly recommend. French was not easy for me at the beginning but the courses with Sarah were very helpful. She explains everything in a pleasant way, very professional and friendly at the same time. I cannot wait for my next course.
