About Maria
I am extremely passionate about French, having studied it for seven years at secondary school, and I am going on to study it at university alongside linguistics. Language learning is, in my opinion, a fundamental part of being human; I think it's extremely important to be able to connect and communicate with others across the world, as well as to connect with our own linguistic history as English speakers. I hope that I can transfer some of my passion to anyone who wishes to learn with me.

A typical lesson would be an hour long, although shorter lessons are available. We would cover a range of translation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening and speaking exercises tailored to the pupil's individual needs. Lessons are for anyone studying French at GCSE or A-level standard who wants to improve their French outside of school. I have received an offer from Oxford University to study French and Linguistics, and I have been predicted an A* in French. I have four months of experience in private tutoring.
