About Eya
My name is Eya and I am a teacher from the bilingual city of Ottawa in Canada. I have a bachelor's degree and more than 15 years experience teaching online and offline French, English and mathematics. My students are professional adults who would like to improve their French skills to communicate with their international clients, suppliers or coworkers. Also, I teach young learners who would like to join a French school, migrate to a French country or get the best professional opportunity when they grow up. Additionally, I teach mathematics in French and English to children.
Outside the class, my life is strongly connected to the wonders of the mountains, to the magnificent sea life, and to the street kitten's care & wellbeing. Besides i enjoy reading and regularly acquiring more knowledge about human life.

In each of my classes, I love to focus on the following three principles:
️ 1. Build or reinforce my student's confidence in themselves to help them quickly communicate with French speakers even if they still don't master the language, with their hard work and a lot of practice they will see themselves speaking French with ease.
️ 2. Simplify the lesson even when it is super complex to help my students understand, learn, and memorize rapidly.
️3. Offer dynamic, vibrant and full of energy classes to keep my students engaged and prevent them from sleeping, indeed if the class is boring they will end up.
Furthermore, I love to connect the topic of each class to the student's professional or day-to-day life to encourage them to better communicate their ideas, emotions, or arguments to a French audience. Also, this topic-life mapping technique helps them remember, after the class, what they've learned in the class.
