About Lillian
My passion for French started from a love for literature, international communication, and language learning during my academic journey. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages before earning a PhD in French Language Education. During the last 11 years, I have helped students improve language confidence through supportive and structured teaching.
I enjoy adapting lessons for different personalities, confidence levels, and communication goals. Some students improve faster through listening and speaking activities, while others prefer grammar explanation and writing support. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical language development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring francophone cinema, reading French novels, and studying cultural history. Staying connected to the language helps me bring authentic examples into lessons. Teaching French is rewarding because I enjoy helping students communicate clearly and confidently.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate clearly through practical learning and interactive speaking activities. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary development, grammar structure, listening comprehension, sentence building, and conversational French through structured exercises that make learning approachable and rewarding. Lessons are supportive, encouraging, and designed for steady fluency growth.
Beginners strengthen their skills through guided pronunciation practice, repetition exercises, and short dialogues that gradually improve confidence. Intermediate learners improve grammar understanding, conversational flow, and listening ability through roleplays and discussion practice. Advanced students focus on fluent expression, cultural awareness, and natural communication through deeper language activities.
I encourage students to use French actively instead of depending only on memorization. Lessons support confidence, consistency, and comfortable communication while helping learners improve naturally. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident while speaking French.
