About Emilia
I'm Emilia, I'm 31 and I'm a qualified French primary school teacher, with 8 years of experience. Teaching is my job. I’m currently on a gap year in Australia and I've decided to start offering personalized French lessons online. As someone who speaks four languages and is learning a fifth, I understand what it’s like to be a language learner — the challenges, the doubts, and the breakthroughs. I'm here to teach you the rules, the pronunciation, all the not-very-fun-things, but also to make you feel comfortable so you try, you speak, and you get better every time !

As I mentionned before, I'm a certified primary school teacher from France, currently on a gap year in Australia. I’ve learned and now speak three other languages — English, Spanish, and Portuguese — and I’m currently learning Italian. Because I’ve gone through the process myself, I understand both the effective and frustrating parts of language learning. I also teach French and English to my students in France, so I know what works — and what doesn’t — in helping people progress. To improve in a language, I believe the most important thing is to work on all four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. And just as importantly: don’t be afraid to make mistakes :) Whatever your reason for learning French — travel, exams, conversation, or curiosity — and whatever your level (even absolute beginners!) and your age, I’ll adapt the lessons to your needs, goals, and pace so you can make real progress and enjoy the journey.
