About Stephane
Bonjour! I am Stephane, a native French speaker and postgraduate law student based in Windsor. I offer supportive, well-prepared French lessons for children, teenagers and adults—from complete beginners to GCSE level.
I understand that learning a language can feel intimidating, so my priority is to create a relaxed, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am patient, organised and attentive, and I adapt every lesson to the student’s pace, interests and goals.
Whether you are looking to improve your grades, prepare for a GCSE exam, develop conversational confidence before travelling, or start learning French from scratch, I will provide clear guidance and practical lessons that help you progress step by step. I look forward to helping you enjoy French and feel genuinely confident using it.

My approach is friendly, structured and tailored to each student’s level and goals. As a native French speaker, I focus on making lessons practical and enjoyable, while building real confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
In the first lesson, I assess the student’s current level and discuss what they want to achieve—whether that is improving everyday conversation, preparing for a school exam, strengthening grammar or building vocabulary. I then create lessons around their needs, combining clear explanations with speaking practice, short exercises, reading, listening and regular revision. For younger learners, I keep lessons interactive through games and engaging activities; for GCSE students, I can focus on vocabulary, grammar, writing techniques and oral-exam practice.
Lessons usually last one hour, but I can adapt the length for younger children or particular needs.
I am a French postgraduate student who speaks French, English and Arabic. I am organised, patient and used to helping others learn through my university responsibilities and childcare experience. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to GCSE level, whether they want academic support or simply to become more confident in French.
