About the lesson

I offer personalised classes tailored to your interests and language objectives. I support my students the best I can, and strive to make learning French as enjoyable as possible. I use many different types of materials during the lessons (videos, articles, games, songs, etc) to keep you motivated. I use authentic and up to date materials so that you can learn about the different cultures of the French-speaking countries. You will practice the four CEFR skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing), and we can focus of any of these areas depending on your objectives. You will have access to a Google document that contains the contents of the lessons, so that you can easily keep track of everything we do. Regular homework consists of short oral and written tasks to improve both your accuracy and fluency.

- Exam preparation (DELF/DALF)
- Intensive & summer courses (A1 to C2)
- Proofreading of written documents (resumes, cover letters, essays, dissertations, etc)

About Léa

I am in my second year teaching French in Spain. Last year I worked with adults, teaching levels A1 to C1 in a Language School, and this year I've worked in a secondary school with students aged 12 to 18. I have just completed a Master's degree in Teaching.

I started tutoring when studying my Bachelor's degree in Paris in 2013. I tutored French high schoolers, helping them to prepare for their French and English A levels (baccalauréat). I then completed a master's degree in Translating in Scotland.

Perfect! My lessons with Léa have been an absolute pleasure, and extremely helpful in rapidly improving my French. The classes are thoroughly prepared and carefully catered to both my level and my interests. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes to ensure this, and notes are sent after each lesson with clear prompts and homework for the next one. Each class makes excellent use of technology (google meets, with clear notes, video material, and handpicked examples to work with), making for a very smooth online experience that's almost indistinguishable from meeting up in person. Having tried intensive courses and various tutors in the past, this is by far the best language training experience I have had - as well as extremely affordable.
