About Adya
I am a qualified and experienced Spanish and French teacher with over 6 years of experience. I have taught in an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school for the last 4 years, and my most recent school is a grammar school that has also received an 'Exceptional School' award.
I have a kind and approachable manner that puts students at ease.

I have consistently helped students progress towards and beyond their target grades at both A level and GCSE, thanks to a strong grasp of language teaching pedagogy, acquired through experience and while training at the University of Sussex with award-winning course leaders. This has enabled me to support and challenge students in line with their individual needs, alongside my approachable and kind manner. My previous experience in marketing has also enabled me to inspire my students with tasks that highlight real-world relevance, and I regularly use a range of cultural references within curriculum-aligned activities so that students remain engaged and interested.
