About Theo
My name is Theo and I have been a teacher for 6 years. I am passionate about France and the French language, and feel that languages qualifications can be hugely advantageous in an increasingly globalised and competitive world.
I am professional and work for results, but am also humourous and relaxed with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

I believe that speaking a second language is an extremely valuable skill. French remains the most sought after language by employers in the UK, due to the strong historical, commercial and cultural ties between the UK and France.
As a teacher, I understand that students do not always receive the attention that they need in a class of 30. With something that is as inherently challenging as learning a language, students can feel unconfident and in need of additional input.
I am a competent, compassionate and fun teacher, who is able to break things down into manageable steps and bitesized chunks. I achieved an A at A level French, studied French at university and have spent time in France both working and for leisure. As such I have excellent knowledge of both the language, the country and its culture.
I can offer flexible, well-planned, engaging lessons that cater to your individual needs and aspirations.
