About Abigail
I have always loved education and languages. I think languages are a wonderful way to learn more about a culture and history, and to eventually communicate directly with the community.
I strive to cultivate your passion for languages and cultures, and to only help increase your level of self-confidence in French.
I am currently teaching English in France, and I understand what it takes to be a foreign language teacher and how I can best help you.

My typical format for lessons begins with basic introductory speaking or writing, to warm up before jumping into a lesson. Afterwards, I lay out the plan for the lesson. What are we focusing on? What are your goals by the end of the lesson? How can we make these two questions meet?
I understand that learning foreign languages can be very unnerving, and even cause anxiety. I've written a dissertation in university on foreign language anxiety, and I will try my hardest to mitigate this for you during lessons.
I am the perfect tutor for students who are at a A1-B2 level, and I excel with beginners.
Phonetics and vocabulary are my favorite, however I am able to work with grammar and comprehension (oral and written) as well.
