About Jaslyn
I'm an undergraduate student currently at university however ever since I was a kid, I have enjoyed teaching people around me (my cousins, my sister, friends and classmates). I've always been quite a big fan of fiction books which grew my love for literature. It makes me really happy to be able to take content people don't understand and then be able to adapt it for them and see them understand too. I love learning languages and I know it's not always easy (I started learning French when I was 8 because I moved to a French school with no prior knowledge in French but was bilingual within a year) and believe in making it a fun experience for my students to grasp them better.

I started tutoring in May 2023, during the 10 years I spent in a bilingual school in London, offering help in English and French with both literature and language (as first and second languages).
Since, I've helped kids aged between 6 and 15. My general approach to classes has been focused on getting students to enjoy themselves and learn to love English and French as much as I do. I focus on helping them with homework, helping them gain confidence in the secondary language and take their school content to make it more accessible and fun.
I can also help in preparing for both French and English exams. I got 18.5/20 in the French baccalaureate for French literature and completed the International French Baccalaureate with 17.5/20 in English literature. I also completed English literature and language IGCSEs.
Typically my session lasts between 1 to 2 hours (up to discussion)
