About Charlie
I am a 19-year-old second-year student at Nottingham Trent University, studying Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Having lived in France for 18 years and completed both the Brevet des Collèges and French Baccalauréat, I offer students an authentic and immersive French learning experience grounded in real language and culture. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s goals—whether that’s improving conversation, mastering grammar, or preparing for exams. Each session typically lasts around one hour and focuses on practical communication, confidence building, and cultural understanding. I use interactive methods such as role-plays, games, and real-life materials to make learning enjoyable and effective. I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers, and I take pride in helping each learner progress at their own pace. I also have my own car, which gives me flexibility to travel to lessons. Teaching French not only allows me to share my passion for the language but also develops my communication, organisation, and leadership skills—valuable qualities that contribute to my personal growth and professional résumé.
