About Ouail
Hello! I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated French tutor based in Manchester, offering online lessons to all levels.
French has been an important part of my education. I studied French as a second language throughout my schooling in Algeria and later completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at university, where my studies were conducted in French. I have also obtained a B2 level in the TCF from the French Institute.
I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, which is why I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where you can practise, ask questions, and build your confidence step by step. I adapt my lessons to your level and objectives, with a focus on practical communication, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday French.
Whether you are starting from scratch, preparing for your studies, travelling, or simply want to improve your French, I would be happy to help you make steady progress and enjoy the learning process.

My approach to teaching French is friendly, patient, and adapted to each student's level and goals. I believe that learning a language should be practical and enjoyable, so I focus on helping students build confidence while developing their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, and speaking skills.
Before starting, I like to understand the student's objectives and current level so that I can adapt each lesson accordingly. Depending on their needs, lessons can include conversation practice, grammar explanations, vocabulary exercises, reading, pronunciation, and everyday French situations. I also encourage students to speak as much as possible during the lesson and create a relaxed environment where they can learn from their mistakes.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are taught online. I am happy to work with beginners and intermediate learners, whether they are learning French for school, university, travel, work, or personal development.
