About Maeva
Hello, my name is Maëva, I am French and I teach French. :)
I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and I have 4 years of experience as a French teacher in different institutes and schools such as the French Alliance of Guayaquil, in Ecuador, and the Casa América Latina in Brussels, Belgium.
I'm a rigorous and serious person but that doesn't stop me from being friendly and attentive, I even try to make jokes from time to time (but they don't always work out haha). I am also very open-minded and empathic. I consider that my personality helps me to be a better teacher :)

I know it can be difficult to learn a new language, as I have been down this road myself! That's why I try to teach in the most pedagogical way possible, combining all the resources we can find, be it music, movies, radio, novels, comics... My goal is that you progress and can understand French from any source! In fact, we often follow classes and learn a lot but we don't manage to put what we have learned into practice or we don't understand someone because of their accent... For this reason I also pay great attention to pronunciation, which is often relegated to the background.
I teach to all audiences, that is to say, children, teenagers, adults and companies, and for all the challenges that you set, whether you want to pass DELF / DALF exams and / or have personal goals. I mainly teach online but I don't totally rule out the possibility of teaching in person.
The price of online classes is €20/hour.
Supplement applies for face-to-face classes depending on the place you live.
YOU CAN PAY LESS IF:
- Several people join the same course (price varies depending on the number of people)
- Several classes are planned in advance: plan 4 classes and you will have the fifth for free!
I also propose:
- Preparation courses for job interviews, CV writing, cover letters...
- Specific grammar or reinforcement courses
