About Kate
I am a caring and intelligent person and I enjoy reading and travelling in my spare time. This year I will be studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne, with a major in Psychology. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with current students and helping each student to do their best. I can provide many resources that helped me to succeed in VCE English, I studied In Cold Blood, The Penelopiad and Photograph 51 while at school - however, I am open to reading and analysing any texts my students may be studying.

Being a recent graduate, I am extremely familiar with the curriculum and skills and resources needed to do well throughout high school.
A typical lesson is 1 hour and would occur on a weekly basis - I prefer to use a combination of activities and a conversation to help establish a student's own ideas about a text.
I completed Year 12 in 2021, achieving an ATAR of 95.4. I received a Special Award for Academic Excellence in English, being rank 1 in my cohort.
