About Dmitry
I am currently studying an Economics and Mathematics BCs joint honours at the University of Bath, about to move into my 3rd and final year. I have a particularly strong academic background in Mathematics (A in GCSE mathematics, A* in A-level core mathematics and A* in A-level further mathematics) and provide effective tuition in the subject.
I have considerable experience tutoring students and preparing them at levels from 11+ selective school entry examinations to GCSEs, with positive results.

I have considerable experience tutoring students and preparing them at levels from 11+ selective school entry examinations to GCSEs, with positive results. I am able to adapt to each students pace in order for learning to be as efficient as possible. Having substantial study experience myself, I am able to advise and provide guidance and tips, which have contributed to my own success. Hopefully, this will contribute to the development of a more refined framework for independent study and will be something valuable to take in, going beyond just the mathematical theory.
My approach for teaching is typically to work through content and explaining the theory. Then, practising questions in order to consolidate theory and also diagnose any misconceptions, in order to refine understanding.
I thoroughly enjoy my subject, and teaching it to others gives me great pleasure. Watching my students gain confidence and understanding is with no doubt a very rewarding experience. I take pride in my work and will do everything I can to provide good results.
