About Elizabeth
Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I'm a recent A Level graduate. I attended an international school, which gave me rich experience interacting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. I genuinely enjoy meeting others and feel completely comfortable being asked for help, having served as Head Girl and held various leadership roles in charity drives.
Through my charity and service work, I've developed patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. These experiences taught me how to support people from all walks of life, and I carry these qualities forward into everything I do, including tutoring.
I achieved an A* in Chemistry and an A in both Physics and Mathematics, having earned A*s across all three subjects at GCSE. I understand that good results require time and effort, so I'm more than willing to give my own time to help students succeed.

My approach to tutoring is built on genuine depth of understanding. Having just completed my A Levels, I have fresh, strong knowledge of Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at both GCSE and A Level — and I taught myself the entire Physics A Level independently, so I understand exactly what it takes to master difficult concepts without a teacher's direct guidance. I am deeply passionate about helping young people feel comfortable and confident learning STEM, because I believe every student deserves to explore these subjects without fear of judgement or failure.
I offer flexible sessions from 30 minutes to 2 hours, tailored to each student's needs, and I am open to working with all levels of students, whether they are trying to master the basics or aiming for top grades.
I understand the importance of patience when tutoring, never rushing a student or making them feel uncomfortable for asking questions. I follow the syllabus closely and deliberately take time on fine details, because I truly believe that real comprehension comes from understanding the "why" behind every concept, not just surface-level memorisation. This deeper appreciation is exactly what allows students to tackle unfamiliar exam questions with confidence, and it is the foundation of everything I teach.
