About Dreyfus
Hello! I'm Keana, a friendly and patient English tutor who is passionate about helping students become confident English speakers.
As a college student with experience teaching English online, I understand that every learner has different strengths and challenges. That's why I create personalized lessons that match each student's pace, goals, and learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to make mistakes because that's how real progress happens.
My lessons are interactive, supportive, and focused on developing practical English skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Learning English doesn't have to be boring or intimidating. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, interactive, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence in using English both inside and outside the classroom.
I personalize each lesson based on the student's English level, learning style, and goals. I use a mix of conversation practice, grammar and vocabulary activities, reading exercises, pronunciation practice, and real-life situations that teenagers can relate to. My lessons encourage students to participate, ask questions, and express themselves without worrying about making mistakes.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous topics before introducing a new concept through clear explanations
and interactive activities. Students then practice what they've learned through discussions, reading passages, writing tasks, role-playing, quizzes, or speaking exercises. At the end of each lesson, I provide helpful feedback, answer questions, and suggest ways to continue improving outside of class.
My lessons are perfect for teenagers, middle school and high school students, beginners, and intermediate English learners.
