About Henry
I appreciate that learning a language can be a challenging, yet incredibly rewarding and useful process.
I have always been fascinated by languages.
I grew up in a bilingual household, studied languages throughout school and university, and have continued studying since.
In turn, studying the workings of other languages has given me a greater appreciation of the complexities of the English language for those learning it.
I have 1 year of past experience as an ESOL instructor at a language school overseas, in addition to over 3 years (ongoing) experience of teaching ESOL lessons in the voluntary sector to students of varying backgrounds and ability levels.
Added to over 20 years' experince of working for international companies and communicating with colleagues and clients in different languages, I aim to provide patient and friendly ESOL support that is based on experience and insight.

I can help you to take your first steps in the English language.
We can work on the essential grammar and vocabulary you need to get started.
Improving? / Intermediate?
I can help you to consolidate grammar and expand your vocabulary, to help you improve in confidence and fluency.
Upper Intermediate? / Advanced?
Help me to help you - we can add more layers and depth to your use of the English language, to make you an even more confident and natural communicator.
