About Euan
My name is Euan and I am a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh in Spanish and Portuguese. My degree award was First Class with distinction in spoken Spanish and spoken Portuguese. I am highly qualified in both languages and speak them to C1 level. I studied Spanish from GCSE to A Level, achieving A* grades in both, before continuing to study the language at university. As for Portuguese I began studying it ab initio at university and after 4 years (including a semester spent in Brazil) my level is similarly high.
Thanks to this background I know what it takes to learn a second language and I am keen to pass on the secrets of excelling in language exams. For a year I was a Spanish Assistant Teacher for primary school children where a taught a variety of age groups and levels. I am a patient and relatable tutor and importantly I am adaptable to the requirements of each student. My teaching style is to listen to the specific needs of the student, and providing personalised sessions according to what would be most beneficial for them.
