About Brooke-leigh
Hi! I'm a third-year Law student with a genuine passion for English Literature and helping students reach their full potential.
I achieved qualifications in both GCSE and A Level English Literature, and my love for literature has stayed with me throughout my academic journey. I enjoy reading a wide range of texts and believe that understanding literature is about more than passing exams. It's about developing confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to express ideas clearly.
Alongside my studies, I am preparing to begin a PGCE in Secondary English next year, as my goal is to become a secondary school English teacher. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for literature while helping students build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a friendly, supportive, and encouraging environment where lessons are tailored to individual needs. Whether you're looking to improve your understanding of a set text, strengthen your essay-writing skills, or prepare for your GCSE exams, I'm committed to helping you achieve your goals and enjoy the learning process along the way.

My lessons are designed to help students aged 11-16 build confidence, strengthen their analytical skills, and achieve success in English Literature. Whether you're aiming to improve your understanding of set texts, prepare for GCSE exams, or develop stronger essay-writing techniques, I tailor every lesson to your individual needs and learning style.
I create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building their confidence. Together, we'll break down complex themes, characters, language, and literary techniques into clear, manageable steps, helping you write insightful, well-structured exam responses.
I specialise in supporting students studying the AQA GCSE English Literature specification, including:

AQA Poetry Anthology
