About Jessica
BIMM Modern Music degree educated singer songwriter.
I sing and play guitar live and play bass in bands and have done for over 10 years.
In addition I have been teaching singing, guitar and bass for around 5 years to students of all ages. This is my full time occupation so you will get all of my attention.
My students have gone onto perform in musicals such as Hairspray, and also perform live in bars and open mic nights. I typically teach people who may have no experience at all and then work out what they want to achieve and how we can do that. In addition I also do songwriting coaching and performance coaching for artists and bands. I can teach all levels in singing, guitar, bass and songwriting/performance. If you would like to see my songwriting or performance in action then please google my old band "Indigo Glitch"
I have a GNVQ in Music Performance (pass), and a GCSE in Music and in Performing arts.

I have a pupil focused approach where I use the students musical tastes to influence what songs we practice and what areas we focus on. If a student wants to sing one song really well - we work on that. If a student wants to learn how to front a rock band - we work on that. It’s not just about the notes but the whole performance. I have a relaxed friendly approach and find it helps if a student is nervous or shy.

She is very fun and works well with adults and children alike. Easy going and makes learning guitar a good time.
Jess is a very supportive and motivational individual who always gets the best out of herself and those she works with. I have known her for a long time and I am glad to recommend her as both a trustworthy tutor and a dedicated mentor.
Excellent tutor - really works with the pupil and sets them at ease. Also a very talented musician in her own right and really good at helping pass on these skills.
