About Lylah
Hi! I'm a friendly, patient and enthusiastic 16-year-old who enjoys helping younger children learn and build their confidence.
I have 6 months of volunteering experience at Rainbows, where I helped with activities and spent time supporting younger children. This has helped me become more confident, responsible and comfortable working with children.
I enjoy English, particularly reading and writing, and I love helping others understand things in a way that feels simple and enjoyable.
I want my lessons to be relaxed and positive, where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.

I offer friendly and supportive English lessons for younger students who want a little extra help with their schoolwork or would like to build their confidence.

I aim to make lessons relaxed, enjoyable and suited to each student's needs. I'll take the time to explain things clearly and encourage students to ask questions and have a go without worrying about getting things wrong.
As I have 6 months of volunteering experience at Rainbows, I'm comfortable working with younger children and keeping activities engaging.
Lessons can be adapted to the student's age, ability and what they're currently learning at school.
