About Amelia
Hi! I’m a friendly and approachable student tutor currently studying at Franklin Sixth Form College. I have recently completed my GCSEs at Humberston Academy, so I understand what it is like to prepare for exams, complete coursework and sometimes struggle with difficult topics. I achieved a Grade 6 in English Literature, Grade 5s in Maths, Spanish, Biology, Physics, Drama and Geography, as well as GCSEs in Chemistry, Religious Education and English Language. I am also currently studying BTEC Health and Social Care and Uniformed Protective Services.
I offer support across a range of GCSE and BTEC subjects and aim to make lessons relaxed, supportive and easy to understand. I believe that everyone learns differently, so I will adapt my teaching to suit your needs, whether you need help understanding a topic, preparing for an exam, revising or completing coursework. As I have recently been through GCSEs myself, I can share revision techniques and study methods that helped me during my own studies. My goal is to help you feel more confident in your subjects and make learning less stressful and more enjoyable!
