About Yuanping
I am originally from Southern China and have been living in the UK for over two years. I am an outgoing, friendly, and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in learning Mandarin.
I believe every student learns differently, so I always design personalised lessons based on each learner’s goals, level, and interests. I aim to make learning Mandarin enjoyable, practical, and easy to progress step by step.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and practical. I focus on helping students speak Mandarin confidently in real-life situations. For beginners, I start with pronunciation, tones, basic vocabulary, and simple sentences. For intermediate and advanced learners, I focus on conversation practice, fluency, and natural expression.
I use interactive methods such as role-play, daily conversation practice, and cultural examples to make lessons engaging and easy to understand.
A typical lesson lasts 40 minutes, allowing time for learning, practice, and review. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed.
I am a native Mandarin speaker with experience working in customer-facing roles in the UK, which has helped me develop strong communication and explanation skills.
My lessons are suitable for:
