About Nusha
I am studying MBBS Medicine at University College London (UCL). I achieved 4 A's in A Level (Maths, Chemistry, Biology and French) and 11A*'s, 1A in GCSE.
I offer GCSE, Key Stage 3 and Primary Mathematics tuition, either one-to-one or group sessions.
To begin with, I find out what the student’s strengths and weaknesses are, and what they would like to achieve from my sessions. If the student requests help on a particular topic, I plan the session in advance to tackle that specific topic with necessary key points and exam-style questions to work through during the session. I encourage students ask questions at any point, both during and in between sessions. Towards the end of the session, I discuss with the student whether we have met the achievements of the session. We will also discuss what topic we should focus on in the next session so I can prepare accordingly. I would also be happy to set the student additional questions to complete in their free time to test their ability. For me, I found that focusing intensively on each weak topic individually helped me improve greatly during A-levels, so I will employ similar techniques in tutoring sessions.
