About Sofiane
**About me:**
I'm Sofiane, a French and English teacher with over 10 years of experience working with students from age 7 to adult, across France, Switzerland, and Colombia. I'm currently based in Galway, studying Creative Writing at NUIG, and teaching alongside my studies.
I love languages because they're never just grammar. They're how people think and connect. My approach is patient, practical, and built around what you actually need, whether that's exam results, real conversation confidence, or just enjoying the language again.
Outside teaching, I write. I'm a published author, and that shapes how I think about language: as something to be used well, not just memorized.

I’m a native French speaker and qualified English/French teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching students aged 7 to adult, across France, Switzerland, and Colombia. I hold a BA in English and currently doing creative writing in NUIG. I have taught in schools, private tutoring, and project-based programs.
My lessons are built around what actually works for you: exam prep (Junior Cert, Leaving Cert), conversation and fluency, grammar foundations, or general confidence building tailored to your level and goals rather than a fixed syllabus. I use a mix of structured practice and real communication so French sticks, not just gets memorized for a test.
Lessons available online or in person in Galway city centre, for beginners through advanced. First session includes a quick assessment so we build a plan that fits you specifically.
