About Lisa
I studied Music at Newcastle University. The course included first hand teaching experience and intensive performance studies. In the third year, I spent the year abroad at the University of Illinois (Champagne-Urbana), gaining further performance and teaching experience. I received a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree in 2008, after completing a major in Vocal Performance with voice training from Richard Wistreich, and a minor Dissertation. I have participated in choirs and orchestras in the UK and the USA.
I was a member of the London Philharmonic Choir from 2013-2016, regularly performing at the Royal Albert Hall with the choir, including for the BBC Proms and Classical Spectacular, and also participated in tours abroad. In September 2016, I participated in a performance of songs from the Final Fantasy XV soundtrack with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Final Fantasy composer Yoko Shimomura at Abbey Road Studios.
I am now a member of the BBC Symphony Chorus and took part in the Last Night of the Proms in 2017. I also participated in the First and Last Night of the Proms 2018.

If you need to cancel a lesson for any reason, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations without due notice or not turning up will be charged at the full rate, at my discretion based on the circumstances.
If adequate notice is given I will aim, where possible, to reschedule within the same week. If this is not possible, the cancellation fee may apply.
