About Rishmita

Hi! I’m Rishmita, a friendly, patient and approachable tutor who enjoys helping children understand maths and become more confident in their abilities. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs and make lessons enjoyable, encouraging and easy to follow. I’m passionate about creating a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace. I’ve been a leader for the Brownies in Girlguiding for four years, so as well as experience with kids through tutoring, I have even more through this volunteering! I have tutored Primary School students in Maths before, helping them clearly improve their skills and knowledge in a fun, patient way, including great SATS results!

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each child’s individual needs and ability. I aim to make maths enjoyable and easy to understand, while helping children build their confidence and strengthen their understanding of key topics. Lessons can focus on areas they find difficult, schoolwork, homework, exam preparation or general practice. I use clear explanations, examples and engaging activities to help children learn at their own pace and feel more confident with maths.
