About Anna
I have 6 years of practical experience working 1:1 with children with SEN, focusing on their education and behaviour, I have 3 years + teaching maths to primary age children in small groups - I firmly believe that no two children learn in the same way or at the same speed - I base their learning on providing a solid and secure foundation of number, place value and basic calculations. Before then progressing forward.

I have studied maths and it’s teaching with the open university alongside children with special education needs courses. I then received first class@ number accreditation from Edgehill university, a maths teaching course of which I had 3 years practical experience teaching to year 2 children. I am extremely passionate about ALL children building their education of maths on a foundation of knowledge. My hour long lessons are split into 4 parts- all parts are hands on-practical interaction which helps to reinforce the lesson.
1st part involves some variety of counting and numeral recognition and writing ( varied, depending on age). 2nd and 3rd parts are being taught and using what has been learnt. 4th part is some variety of game.
