About Hlystan
Teaching is my passion. I love learning and try to impart this to the children I teach. My ability to build a good rapport with children makes it easier to help them achieve their potential. I have several years' experience of teaching and tutoring. By equipping children with the tools and techniques they need, I enable them to work confidently and independently. I give children thorough explanations of concepts and lots of practice to consolidate their newly learnt skills. I also tutor children taking 7+, 8+, 9+ 10+ and 11+ exams (selective entrance tests for independent and grammar schools). Recent successes include girls accepted into City of London Girls, Highgate and Royal Russell (one on a scholarship) and boys offered places at King's College Wimbledon, Dulwich College, Hampton and Kingston Grammar. In addition to the above, I can also teach English as a Foreign Language and Functional Maths to adults seeking to improve their Maths and English skills. Please contact me for more details and information. Perfect! Reliable and Dedicated
Hlystsn is a good tutor, very professional and reliable. Hlystan tutored my son 8 years old son at the time from January 2019 at our home, and when we went into lockdown in March 2020, she quickly set up a routine to carry on with tutoring online. She focuses on the areas my son was weak in before moving on. Over the months, my son confidence improved, and we quickly notice a great improvement in his school work. I would recommend Hlystan.
Outcome : Improved grammer and confidence not only in English but in other subjects.Perfect! Amazing tutor
Hlystan helped my son for 7+ Kings College exam. In a very limited time she really improved my son's writing. I really like how she comes prepared for the lessons.

Perfect! Excellent tutor..
I am really pleased with the way Hlystan tutored Samara for the first time. She is very good in the way she explains things so that she understands and after setting an exercise for Samara to do, Hlystan was able to recognise the areas that needed to be worked on which I was very impressed with. She is a very friendly tutor and made Samara feel at ease. Samara is happy to have Hlystan as her tutor and so am I.

My son (6y) is not a native English speaker. During we travelled in London, Hlystan taught him English for one month. She is a very nice teacher with patiently teaching and well organizing in course plan. She gave my son a lot supplements to enhance his study. My son got advance within very short time. Thank Hlystan a lot.
Hlystan tutored my son and daughter (in years 5 and 3) respectively for 2 years. She taught English and in Maths taught them strategies to solve problems for themselves. My children became more confident in their learning. My son moved up a set in maths, also my daughter moved a set in English and Maths. I am happy to recommend her as a tutor.
