About Sukhdeep
Have taught Tabla throughout west London for over thirty years and have produced students who themselves have gone on to become talented professional performers. All styles taught with patience and dedication - from classical to light and fusion and ghazal/bhajan accompaniment. I have been the resident Tabla teacher at Bina Musicals in Southall - the UK's hub for the purchase and repair of Indian classical instruments - teaching students of all ages and levels. My own Gurus include the late & much revered Ustad Gurmit Singhji Virdee who was also my father-in-law, and whose systematic teaching methods have helped me to successfully pass on the wonderful knowledge I have been given. Currently I am blessed to have been receiving "Taleem" from one of the world's most knowledgeable and respected Tabla maetros - Pandit Yogesh Samsi.

I endeavour to teach the Tabla with a systematic and friendly approach - just as I have been taught myself. My lessons are clearly explained, demonstrated and written down - with the option to record for later reference. My student base consists of individuals of all ages and skill levels, from young or old beginners - to young or old advanced players.
