About Lily
I am a Chemistry Master's graduate at the University of Manchester, having graduated July 2021. I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths. I have also studied French to DALF Level C1 (Expert). At A-Level I studied Chemistry, French and Physics, achieving an A in Chemistry, and 10 A* Grades (grades 8-9) at GCSE.

My teaching method is very personal and revolves around the student and your goals. I will start by discussing with you what you may struggle with and want to work on, and what you would like to achieve and then I will make a plan so that we can work together to help you succeed. This can involve help with homework, specific topic explanations, past paper marking and thorough feedback, and teaching methods specific to the way you learn best (visual learners, auditory learners, kinesthetic learners, reading/writing learners). I find it best to use the first lesson to get to know the student and their needs and preferred learning techniques so that I can make a plan that is completely tailored. I am empathetic and will make sure that you enjoy your sessions while getting as much as possible out of them!
