About Millie
As a young and friendly tutor, I have experience supporting students in my local area, including neighbours. I have developed a nurturing, patient and approachable teaching style that helps younger students feel comfortable and confident. I’m supportive and encouraging; I always aim to create a positive environment where students feel able to ask questions and make mistakes. I’m here not only to support students with their exams, but also to offer encouragement and advice when they need it.

My lessons are tailored to each student, the GCSE exam board and literature they are studying. We will work through past papers, analyse their answers, compare them with exemplar answers and identify how to restructure responses to reach the top grades. I can also help students select and learn key quotations and break down exam questions step-by-step, with secret tips and tricks I found useful when I sat my exams.
Lessons are 1–1.5 hours and cost £12.50. As an undergraduate who achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE English Literature and an A at A-Level, I have experienced the current GCSE structure, grading system and exam techniques first-hand myself, so I understand what students are going through.
