About Nola
I am a committed Violin tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, during which I have successfully trained around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. My teaching approach is built on strong fundamentals, consistent practice, and confident performance. I begin by focusing on posture, bow grip, finger positioning, tone production, and rhythm accuracy to ensure students develop a technically sound base.
As they progress, I introduce advanced bowing techniques, scales, shifting, dynamics, and expressive interpretation. I carefully adapt each lesson to match the student’s pace and goals, ensuring steady improvement without overwhelming them. I also guide students on effective practice routines that maximise productivity outside of class.
My unique strength lies in my ability to patiently correct small technical errors before they become habits. My goal is to develop disciplined, expressive, and self-confident violinists who truly enjoy their musical journey.

My approach to teaching violin combines structured learning with practical understanding. I believe every student has unique potential, so I personalise lessons according to their goals and strengths. Through clear communication, I explain techniques like bowing variations, vibrato, shifting, and articulation in simple steps.
I adapt to different learning styles by using demonstrations, listening exercises, written notes, and guided practice. Along with performance skills, I include subjects such as music theory, harmony basics, scale systems, ear development, and sight reading.
I use real-life case studies like recital preparation, ensemble collaboration, and exam performance strategies to keep lessons meaningful. I also teach time management and practice planning. My objective is to build disciplined, confident, and well-rounded violinists
