About Humza
With a passion for exploring the frontiers of science and engineering, I've pursued academic excellence across multiple continents. Currently, I'm pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the esteemed University of Calgary, where I'm delving deep into the mysteries of this fascinating field. Before this, I completed an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Nanotechnology at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where I gained valuable insights into this cutting-edge area of research and also taught 180 students for a semester. I also had the privilege of being awarded a prestigious UNESCO Research Fellowship under the UNESCO African Chair of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, which allowed me to conduct groundbreaking research at Capetown, South Africa. My academic journey began with a BS in Nanosciences and Nanotechnology from PINSAT, Pakistan, where I first discovered my passion for this exciting field. Through hard work, determination, and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, I've made a name for myself as a dedicated and accomplished researcher, eager to make a positive impact in the world of science and engineering.

As a doctoral researcher and experienced teacher, the approach to teaching Chemistry would be truly unique. Having drawn from 10 years of science experience across 3 different continents, a diverse range of teaching techniques have been developed to cater to students from all backgrounds. The classes are not just lectures but interactive sessions where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions. The belief is that the best way for students to learn is by thinking. The teaching style is tailored to the needs of individual students, recognizing that everyone has a different learning style and pace. With a passion for making science accessible and engaging, an inclusive and welcoming learning environment is created where all students can succeed.
