About Sam
I used to teach Hindi in India to children at school level and was effective. Most of my students did well in school as I knew what was important because I had just left school and the lessons taught were still fresh in my mind.

My name is Samrat Pathak and I am studying in Aston University (1st year).
There are many Indian families in England who want their children to learn Hindi as it is their mother- tongue. They realise the importance of teaching Hindi to the next generation. As I grew up in North-Indian family, I am quite fluent in Hindi and English and I know that I have to maintain patience and perseverance while teaching children a foreign language and as well as grow interest in them towards it.
I will be using books and stories especially those related to ancient Indian mythologies. I would be also concentrating in building confidence in them to speak in Hindi fluently.
I think as I am quite young and quite fluent in both Hindi and English, I will be able to connect to with children quite easily which is quite necessary while teaching.
