About Saubhik
I wasn't always confident with math. In school, I struggled with concepts that didn't connect and memorized formulas without understanding them. During my competitive exam preparation, I began exploring problems on my own and realized the issue wasn't me; it was how math was being taught. Once I understood the "why" behind concepts, everything clicked! Now I help students find that same breakthrough moment. I genuinely celebrate every win, whether big or small, because I remember how transformational each small success felt. Watching students shift from "I hate math" to "Oh, I can actually do this" never gets old. Outside of teaching, I like traveling, swimming, and learning new skills like ukulele and rope flow. Students who struggled with math often did fine once they had someone to slow down and actually explain things. The subject isn't inherently difficult; the teaching often is. I teach math the way I wish someone had taught me: by actually explaining why things work before showing you how to do them. Here's how we typically work: You tell me what you're struggling with, I show you why it's confusing (the source), and then we rebuild it in a way that makes sense. I use sketches, real-world examples, and problems that actually make sense. We move at your pace, not some arbitrary schedule. I teach students from high school board exam takers to college students who struggle with certain topics, as well as those preparing for competitive exams who want new ways to solve problems. Having gone through my own competitive exam journey, I understand the challenges and know what it takes to succeed. I use simple, effective methods to help you build confidence and truly understand math. Between lessons, I send you problem sets designed for what we covered, with increasing difficulty as your confidence grows.
