About Mark
Full time silversmith and jeweller working in the picturesque Derbyshire Peak District. I've been running classes for small groups and individuals for over three years, with many of my students returning to improve their skills and take their jewellery making to the next level.
I sell much of my jewellery through retail outlets, festivals and artisan markets. I have also exported to China, Australia, much of Europe and the USA.

My teaching method is very much hands on, I like my students to start making straight away. My classes are very progressive in nature with each piece of jewellery my students make building on the skills learnt from the previous project. A typical one day beginners course will see the students leaving with two or three pieces of Sterling silver jewellery. Traditional jewellery making skills are taught including forming, sawing, soldering, texturing and stone setting. If you have a particular project in mind, please contact me to discuss.
