About Diane
I am a former Teacher of Maths and Science in Secondary Education and now a Full-Time Maths Tutor. My tutees generally fall into the range of ages six to sixteen, however I have also tutored adults and students wishing to enter Nursing College. My tutees are always surprised how quickly the hour goes. My lessons are tutee focused and we go through as many examples as we need to for each topic including actual past SATS and GCSE exam questions. If one approach doesn't get through then I always try a different angle. I can measure the increase in confidence and ability as the lessons progress by listening and observing how my tutee tackles a question. I am cheerful, patient and gauge my lessons to the individual potential of my tutee to get the best outcome.
My fee covers a distance of 16 miles from home, however, I am willing to tutor further afield into Herefordshire for an additional travel fee. Please message for details. Thank you. Diane
