About Tim
I am Tim Bentley, an experienced music teacher who specialises in guitar tuition. I have worked full time as a music teacher for nearly 20 years and as a tutor for most of that.
Students usually continue having lessons with me for many years and families tell me this is because I make students feel confident, relaxed and focused, by making the lessons enjoyable and encouraging quick progress.
Whatever the style of learning, I am quick to adapt and find a way to push the student forward.

- I have learnt to adapt my methods to the students' needs through years of experience. Whether the student wishes to simply learn to play songs, improve their existing technique or would prefer to go through guitar exams, I have taught students from age 5 to 50. I have huge experience of teaching beginners, intermediates and also those who have played for a few years and want to tighten up their technique.
-Typical lessons are 1 hour, although 45 minute sessions may be preferable for younger students.
-I am a full time music teacher in a Primary School so am CRB checked
