Nyota Parker, a multifaceted artist of Congolese and Irish descent, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. Despite being only 24, she possesses an artistic maturity that exudes the charisma and skill of musicians well beyond her years. Her musical journey seamlessly weaves together elements of Rap, Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, and Alternative R&B, embodying rebellion through her distinctive and unconventional style. Nyota’s impact extends beyond music, having secured major bookings and featured prominently in three international campaigns for Converse alongside artists like Tyler, The Creator, Vince Staples, and Tobe Nwigwe in Sydney, New York, and Johannesburg. She has also headlined her own performances in New York, Cape Town, and Montreal and captivated an audience of 100,000 people at Cape Town’s Festive Lights Switch On for two consecutive years.
