About Harry
I work full-time as a secondary English Teacher and this is my third year of teaching. If you are struggling in the subject I can help you with your understanding of key content, structuring essays, and accessing the higher bands of the AQA mark scheme. If you are a confident student and want to know how to access the full breadth of the mark scheme to maximise your potential, I can help with that as well. My students often exceed their targets and my tutees have in some cases seen jumps of two, even three grades. A strong English education is essential in the professional world and I am a firm believer that tuition is a worthy investment for students of all levels.

I aim to put the needs of my students first and am highly adaptable in meeting all abilities skill ranges at secondary level. I teach through the lens of the exam mark scheme, practice a wide range of metacognitive and pedagogical skills, and aim to instil in my students terminological fluency, high levels of competency with set texts, and a knowledge of the mark scheme that will have them achieving their full potential.
