Stacey's CV

Profile
My main role as a teacher is to ensure that all the students in my care achieve in their specific subject, to achieve this it is essential that realistic goals are set to constantly reflect curriculum delivery and to ensure that the taught subject is relevant to students in everyday situations. I strive to build strong relationships and have a good rapport with my students from the outset, as I feel that my Humanistic approach to teaching creates a successful learning environment for my students. I have been enriched personally and learnt much from the diverse backgrounds, cultures and needs of my learners. I feel that it is important to have high expectations for my classes, whilst at the same time accommodating the differing rates of student progression, as I feel that, if I, through thorough planning and organisational skills, my students will mirror this and have high expectations also. I regularly reflect on my own practice and enjoy collaborating professionally with colleagues to expand my skills and interests, whilst also sharing good practice. I am very passionate about education and teaching and I am driven by a desire to make a difference to the learners that I teach.
