About Christopher
I am anEnglish language tutor with over 5 years experience teaching. I have worked in classrooms, house visits, online, 1 on 1 tutoring and group projects. I myself am bilingual and understand the difficulties in learning a new language. I have helped multiple students with preparation for the IELTS exams or for their Masters. I am able to teach to a high degree with a successful student. I am motivated and optimistic, I am also very understanding and open. In my classes I ensure that there is a safe and comfortable environment which allows my students to learn in a positive manner.

I focus on teaching the correct pronunciation and phonetics, IPA, giving students a better speaking and listening skill. I am able to teach the fundamentals of the British language, the history of the language and language specific information and rules. I teach mouth movement, mouth control, tongue and teeth positioning and also am able to clearly direct on any difficulties. I teach through a mix of reading and speaking activities, articles and activities. Depending on the student I tailor the class structure to them. I believe that having a good time, enjoying your class, is very important and I always teach with a smile and a laugh.
