About Cairon
I have 3 degrees; a BA, a Postgraduate certificate and a PGCE in English Education. I absolutely love learning and love English.
I have a clean FULLY ENHANCED DBS Certificate.
I am a fully qualified English teacher who has worked all over the world. I have been both a class teacher and a form tutor. I currently teach year 7-11 both English Language and English Literature.
I have loved getting to know my students and supporting in their learning throughout all their subjects, as well as growing relationships with their fellow teachers.
- I’ve taught both KS3 & KS4 GCSE English in the UK & abroad to students aged 10 - 18.
- I have experience working the AQA exam specification as well as Edexcel and have also taught Cambridge International ESL.
- I also have a TEFL UK certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.
I have been working with children for over 5 years as an Au Pair abroad and now as a qualified English teacher. Prior to that I trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist in the North West.
I am truly passionate about my subject and believe that studying English can help change the world. English allows us to access the world around us, formulate passionate and relevant discussions about important, real life issues and a love of learning to grow from a very young age.
I am looking to continue to help students through online tutoring whilst I also work full time in a school. I currently teach both KS3 English as well as GCSE English Literature & Language.
I absolutely love to read literature and have read over 30 books last year. I am happy to provide reading recommendations & encouragement to your child as well as online tutoring in both KS3 & KS4 English.

I have a very relational approach to teaching & love to get to know my students alongside teaching them. I believe that every student is different and learns in their own individual way. This is essential to getting you to ENJOY English & realise the potential it has for you.
We will meet online to discuss your passions and struggles within the subject and help formulate a plan on how we can make you as successful as possible in your exams.
I'd love to know what you want in the future and how I can help you get there.
We will work together to ensure that you learn everything you need for assessments or exams but also have fun along the way!
Each lesson will be 60 minutes long and will be structured to review our previous learning, as well as an explanation of new learning/topics and time to apply that in independent work. We will also take part in quizzes, debates and other practical elements if you learn better that way and enjoy it.
