About Lauren
I'm a 34 year old Geography teacher with over 10 years experience. I live in Rutland with my partner, our daughter and our two dogs.
I became a teacher because I had a teacher who helped me through my school years and to achieve my goal of going to university.
I've worked in a variety of schools from inner city comprehensives to independent boarding schools.
My personal interest lies in Human Geography but I teach both Physical and Human Geography and studied both at University.

I've worked in a variety of schools from inner city comprehensives to independent boarding schools.
I am available for tutoring A Level or GCSE.
My personal interest lies in Human Geography but I teach both Physical and Human Geography and studied both at University.
I have experience tutoring one-to-one and teaching classes of over 30 pupils.
I primarily focus on building students confidence and independence to allow them to demonstrate their full ability.
I use an appropriate range of teaching strategies and resources, including e-learning, which meet learners’ needs.
I encourage the student to ask questions, and repeatedly check the student is understanding the content.
My tutoring style will be led by the student and I can quickly adapt to suit their needs.
