About Cameron
I spent a year working as a COVID catch-up coach in a school, delivering both in-person and online tuition, before training to become a Maths teacher and have now been teaching maths for 2 years after qualifying. I think it is important to have confidence when it comes to mathematics, you learn from mistakes than from getting things right, being able to make a mistake, notice it, and correct it is a useful skill in all aspects of life especially maths. Trust me, I had to make many mistakes to learn all the maths I know.

Lessons can be between 1 and 2 hours, focusing on KS3 and KS4 maths. I have experience working with SEND GCSE students as well as high-ability students. I believe anyone can improve their mathematical ability so long as they are willing to put in the work. I follow the teaching for an understanding method, focusing more on gaining a working understanding of maths instead of simply learning to pass tests. While exam technique has its place I find it is more helpful to get the fundamentals right.
