About Hazel
I have a Bachelors degree in Primary Education. I have been teaching for 5 years now and have experience across a range of stages, including working with children with additional support needs. I have gained valuable experience working with other professionals such as speech and language and learning support to ensure I meet the needs of the children in my care. I strive to create a nurturing environment so they feel valued and safe in my classroom.

I base my teaching on the individual needs of the children in my care and alter lessons to suit the children’s interests and abilities. I am able to think on my feet and adapt when necessary. I take the pace from the children, if they need more support I slow down to ensure they have a full understanding before moving on. However on the other hand, I also provide challenge to those who need it.
